Attachments are copies. Once one leaves your outbox you cannot change it, withdraw it, or find out whether anybody read it. A PDFLink address is a pointer to a document that is still yours: swap the file and everyone holding the link sees the new one, add a password after you have sent it, set it to stop working next Tuesday, and see who opened it and how far they got.

Every upload is checked before anyone can reach it
An uploaded file is held in storage that nothing can serve from while it is verified as a genuine PDF, scanned for malware with ClamAV, and has its outbound links checked against Google Safe Browsing. Only then is it copied to the bucket the viewer reads from. We have not found another PDF-sharing service that does this before the first view.
Sold by the year, with a 30-day refund
There is no monthly plan. Base is $60 a year, Solo $120, Pro $250 — and if you want the money back within 30 days of any payment, including a second year, you get it in full with no reason required. You pay once for the year; nothing renews by itself.

Getting started — upload a PDF, give an email address, type the six-digit code we send. There is no password to choose and no card required to use the free plan.
Support — hello@pdflink.co, answered by a person, usually within one working day.
Reporting a document — abuse@pdflink.co or the report link in any viewer. Phishing and malware are acted on within hours; everything else is reviewed by a person, normally within one working day.
Billing — a single payment for a year, taken by PayPal, by PayPal account or card. Nothing renews by itself and there is nothing to cancel: we email a month before the year ends and you choose whether to pay for another.
Your documents if you stop paying — nothing is deleted because a plan ended. The limits return to the free plan's and the PDFLink mark comes back.

Is it safe to share confidential documents with PDFLink?
You can password-protect a link, turn downloading off, watermark each view with the reader's own email address, require an email before the document opens, and set access to expire. A link protects delivery rather than the file itself — once someone downloads a PDF it is an ordinary PDF — so for documents that must stay encrypted wherever they travel, encrypt the file as well.
What happens to my documents when my paid year ends?
Nothing is deleted, and nothing is charged unless you choose another year. The account returns to the free plan's limits and the PDFLink mark comes back on your documents. Links that fit within the free plan keep working.
