Terms of service
The agreement between you and PDFLink — what we provide, what you may and may not put on it, who owns what, and what happens when either side wants to stop.
These terms govern your use of PDFLink, operated by Zeebo UK Ltd. Using the service means accepting them.
What we provide
PDFLink stores PDFs you upload and serves them at an address we issue, with a QR code, a record of who opened them, and the controls described on the site — passwords, expiry dates, email gates, watermarks, comments and version history.
We try to keep it available and we do not promise it always will be. There is no uptime guarantee on any plan.
Your account
You need an account to create a link. We identify you by email and a one-time code; keep access to that mailbox, because anybody who has it has your account.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your team members do.
Your documents
They stay yours. Uploading a document gives us permission to store it and to serve it to people who have the link — nothing else. We claim no ownership, we do not use your documents to train anything, and we do not show them to anyone you have not given the address to.
You must have the right to publish what you upload.
What you may not upload
The full list is at what we will not host. In short: nothing illegal, nothing designed to defraud or steal credentials, nothing malicious, nothing that abuses a person, and nothing you do not have the rights to.
We check every upload automatically, act on reports from readers, and remove what breaches this. A removed document stops working for everyone holding the link, and the file cannot be uploaded again by anybody. Repeated breaches end the account.
Plan limits
A free link works for five days. After that the file is permanently deleted and the address answers with a page saying the link has expired. This is not a grace period or an archive — the document is gone, and we cannot get it back for you. Paying at any point before it expires lifts the deadline from everything you already hold, including the link you have already sent.
Each plan sets how many projects you may keep active, how large a file may be or how much you may store in total, how many visits your links may serve in a calendar month, and how many seats you get. The current numbers are on the pricing page and they are enforced.
Exceeding the monthly visit allowance pauses your links until the count resets at the start of the next month, or until you move to a plan that covers them.
Paying
Plans are sold by the year, as a single payment in advance. The seller is Zeebo UK Ltd; payments are taken by PayPal, by PayPal account or by card, and PayPal's terms apply to the transaction itself. We never see or store a card number.
Nothing renews by itself. There is no card on file and nothing to cancel. We email a month before the year ends, a week before, and on the day; if you want another year, you pay for it then. Paying before the year ends adds the new year to the end of the current one.
Moving to a larger plan part-way through a year costs the new plan's price less the unused part of the old one, and starts a fresh year from that day. Moving to a smaller plan happens when the current year ends.

When a paid year ends without another, the account returns to the free plan's limits. We do not delete documents because a plan ended — the limits tighten and the PDFLink mark returns. Documents you uploaded while paying keep their addresses; the five-day deadline applies to links made from then on.
Ending it
You can close your account at any time. We will delete your documents within 90 days.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where the breach is phishing, malware or anything illegal we will do so immediately and without notice, because the alternative is other people getting hurt while we deliberate.
If we close the service altogether we will give at least 60 days' notice and a way to get your documents out.
The boring but necessary part
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost business.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your documents. PDFLink is a way to share files, not a backup service.
Changes
We may change these terms. If a change matters, account holders are emailed before it takes effect. The date at the top is when they last changed.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
